Bill Corcoran and Bonnie Jean Dibelius were looking forward to reducing their electric bills through the use of solar power. They asked Solar Works to install a 3.8 kW solar electric system on their roof to complement their existing solar hot water system, both of which power 100% of their household needs. Over the life of their system this is the same as eliminating the emissions from driving 119,000 driving miles.
